Aluminum Alloy 6061

Aluminum Alloy 6063 is an extrusion-focused formulation engineered for high extrudability, reliable corrosion resistance, and a smooth surface finish. It is specially designed for manufacturing complex aluminum profiles requiring precise shapes, tight dimensional tolerances, and clean surface preparation for anodizing or coating.

Application

Window and door frames, curtain walls, railings, furniture components, heat sinks, decorative profiles, architectural and industrial profiles, custom aluminum extrusions.

Temper Designation

F

As-fabricated condition with basic control over temper.

T

Thermally treated alloy to produce stable tempers.

T4

Solution heat treated and naturally aged to a stable condition.

T5

Artificially aged after elevated temperature rapid cooling fabrication.

T6

Solution heat treated followed by artificial ageing process.

Mill Finish

Natural aluminium finish directly from the extrusion press without additional anodizing or coloring treatment.

Technical Note: For subsequent severe forming processes such as complex bending, please request softer tempers.
